Uhler Vertich White Advisors Host Newton Investment Management Financial Expert

FORT MYERS, Fla. (March 13, 2024) – Uhler Vertich White Advisors recently hosted clients at Alliance for the Arts for “The Experts Speak,” its annual program that features financial authorities presenting information about timely topics.

Corey Vertich and Raphael Lewis discuss the benefits of nontraditional research as it relates to financial planning.

This year’s expert, Raphael Lewis, head of specialist research at Newton Investment Management, presented on the benefits of nontraditional research. Lewis shared insights on how his team uses thematic research, geopolitical research, private markets and forensic accounting to provide deep-dive channel research to their investment partners.

“This annual event is always well received by our clients. They truly appreciate the opportunity to better understand current events as they relate to their investments. Plus, our team enjoys making these valuable connections,” said Tom Uhler, co-founder and principal of Uhler Vertich White Advisors.

Lewis joined Newton in 2021, following the integration of Mellon Investments Corporation’s equity and multi-asset capabilities into the Newton Investment Management Group. He has a bachelor’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from University College, University of Toronto, and a master’s degree in print journalism from Columbia University. Before joining Newton, Lewis was director of the investigative research team at Mellon Investments Corporation and The Boston Company Asset Management, both BNY Mellon group companies.
